SURFACE TECHNOLOGY
Our additional processing methods allow us to implement our customers' wishes even faster and more flexibly.
This means that electrodes can be produced directly in-house by sawing, milling and turning, and components and sheet materials can be given perfect surfaces by surface grinding and glass bead blasting.
GRINDING,
GLASS BEADS SANDBLASTING
We use our glass bead blasting machine from Normfinish to clean and refine our products and components on behalf of our customers.
The glass blasting medium with a grain size of 70 - 110 µm produces extremely pure and finest surfaces on steel and many non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass and copper without attacking or damaging them.
The perfect complement to erosion for visually impressive results and the finishing touch.
On our surface grinding machine from Elb we grind soft and hardened workpieces up to a size of 400 mm x 200 mm and a maximum height of 200 mm flat and with a high surface quality
MILLING
Our DECKEL FP2 milling machine produces electrodes for die-sinking erosion machining made of copper and smaller components made of soft materials quickly and precisely on customer orders and for our own use. When things have to happen quickly, electrode design, electrode production and subsequent die-sinking erosion machining all come together in the shortest possible way.
A working area of 300 mm x 700 mm and maximum uninterrupted travel distances of 400 mm x 200 mm are available for this purpose. The maximum workpiece height here is 200 mm.
TURN
On our conventional Weiler Praktikum lathe, we manufacture electrodes made of graphite and copper for our own use and, upon customer request, small-format turned parts.
SAW
We use our automatic band saw HBS 265 from Klaeger to cut raw material (bars or blocks) for our own use or on behalf of our customers.
